Handy, Hands and Moe LLC is a locally owned handyman service operating across Greater Columbia County and the surrounding area. We handle the repairs, installations, and remodeling projects that don't need a specialist but do need someone who shows up and knows what they're doing.
Most of what we do falls into two categories: small repairs that need to happen today, and larger projects that take a few days to a week. Door won't latch, outlet stopped working, cabinet hinge loose — those are same-day or next-day fixes. Flooring installs, bathroom remodels, deck repairs — those get scheduled out depending on what else is booked, but we'll give you a realistic start date when we quote the job.
We carry general liability insurance and we work within Florida's handyman scope — repairs, installations, and maintenance that don't require a state contractor's license. For work that does need a license — electrical rough-in, plumbing rough-in, HVAC, structural changes — we'll tell you upfront and point you to someone licensed in that trade if needed.
Columbia County's mix of site-built homes, older properties, and mobile homes means we see a lot of moisture-related repairs — rotted door jambs, soft subfloors, mildewed siding. Florida's humidity doesn't forgive poor ventilation or deferred maintenance, so a lot of what we fix is damage that started small and got worse because it wasn't caught early. We'll tell you if the fix is cosmetic or if there's a bigger issue that needs addressing first.
